Build-A-Bear Workshop Announces Discounts for the Young & Young-at-Heart

Just when you thought summer couldn't get any cuter, Build-A-Bear announced a special sale that is perfect for young and old fans alike! It's time to stock up on your favorite stuffed animals because on Thursday July 12, Build-A-Bear will host its first ever 'Pay Your Age Day' where all guests will be able to pay their current age in dollars to create their new furry friend. This means that a 7-year-old will only pay $7 for their friend of choice!

If you're young at heart, don't worry because you can still get a sweet deal during this event. The prices are capped at $29, meaning anyone who is 30 years old (or older, no judgement) will only pay $29 to take home their stuffed friend.

The animals themselves usually cost anywhere between $10-$30. But with this promotion, you can cut down on the price of your stuffed animal and put that money towards a few adorable accessories, outfits, sound machines, and scents. Oh, and did we mention that this promotion also applies to special collections like Star Wars, My Little Pony, Jurassic World, Rainbow Friends, Trolls, and Pokemon?

The 'Pay Your Age Day' special event kicks off a much larger year-round, birthday-exclusive offer called 'Count Your Candles'. This event offer gives kids who are 14 years old or younger a way to commemorate their birthday with a special Birthday Treat bear!

So how can you participate in this paw-esome sale? Parents and guardians who are over 18 will need to enroll in the Build-A-Bear Bonus Rewards Program. You can sign up in store on Thursday or online right here! But we recommend signing up online to avoid the long lines (and there are sure to be long lines). However, if the lines are too long for your taste, the store will even allow shoppers to purchase an unstuffed furry friend and return to "build" them on another, less busy day. So, whether you're young or young-at-heart, you need to stop by Build-A-Bear this Thursday!
