Spring is the time to start shedding layers, but since the mornings and nights are still pretty cool, it is essential to have a sweater to throw over your dresses or skirts or to add to your favorite pair of jeans. In addition to providing more warmth, they are the best way to add a pop of color to whatever you are wearing. My favorite color for this season is coral! I am very partial to a good chambray shirt or a blue button-up to tie up over my dresses to add an extra layer, and these two tops fit the bill exactly. Just because the weather is nicer doesn’t mean you always have to dress up, and Gap has some great alternatives that will still let you look good but also be very comfortable. The new thing this winter was “fancy sweatshirts” that made people overlook the fact that they were still just sweatshirts, and thankfully they are back for spring! Grab one that is in a bright color or floral print, and people will completely forget that you are having a casual day. There are paired great with a jeans or shorts.
